Pre-applied high density polyethylene (HDPE) self-adhesive waterproof membrane, which is composed of one thick HDPE backing layer, an aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive and trafficable weather resistant protective granular coating, is specially designed for underground engineering constructions with international advanced technology. And it can bond the later cast concrete form a firm structure, so that prevents water ingress or migration.
1). Advanced wet bonding technology: When pouring concrete, the cement mortar and the macromolecule polymer in the adhesive layer of sheet material moisture cure and bind together, the sheet material and structural layer concrete forms a permanent integration, avoiding water ingress or migration.
2). Both the advantages of polymer membrane and self-adhesive membrane, can be applied to wet base surface, weatherproof, can save the duration, reduce project cost.
3). Waterproof sheet material is border adhibiting on base, therefore it is not affected by settlement deformation

6. Packaging, Storage & Transportation:
Wrapped in plastic bags or woven bags.
(2) Storage & Transportation:
1). Different types and sizes of materials shall be stored separately, keep in sequence and avoid mess.
2).Store materials in dry and ventilated condition, protect from sunshine, rain or other extreme environment.
3). Storage temperature shall be less than 45ºC, the max height of stack is 5 layers.
4). Prevent squeezing against membranes during transit, provide cover on top if necessary.
1) Base course cleaning
Horizontal cushion base course shall be solid and compact, flat and smooth, without gaps or holes larger than 12mm on the surface. Existing cavities, pitted surface, cracks, gaps and holes shall be repaired in advance.
The base course may be humid, but there shall not be any water.
2) Detail treatment
Additional waterproof layer shall be deployed at pipes, floor drains, internal and external corners, inlets and outlets, and other weak parts. Single-sided adhesive membrane without sand layer shall be used to form additional waterproof reinforcement for special positions, which is fixed on base course. It is required that the width of additional layer shall not be less than 500mm, and the material shall be exactly the same as that applied in large scale construction.
3) Large scale paving of waterproof membrane:
Before large scale construction, setting-out shall be implemented first to determine the position of each roll of membrane. In actual application, the exact position of membrane shall be adjusted slightly.
Membrane shall be paved according to setting-out layout, and shall be flattened and rolled. Paved membrane shall be flat and straight, with correctly overlapping treatment, avoiding wrinkles or twists.

4) Overlapping treatment:
Pressure sensitive adhesive without quartz sand is reserved along the overlapping position, which may directly adhere the position with the smooth surface of another membrane. As for the width side, sealing tape produced by HONGYUAN may be used to adhere two pieces of membrane together. The overlapping width of length side is 70mm, and width side 80mm.

5) Fixing of vertical membrane on walls
In facade construction, membranes shall be fixed at self-adhesive position (overlapping position along the length direction) 10-20mm from membrane edge in every 400-600mm. Moreover, the fixing position shall be fully covered by membrane.
8. Technical Data Sheet:
Pre-applied HDPE self-adhesive waterproof membrane should be accordance to the technical requirements of the standards GB/T23457-2009.
